As departmental number two Lisa joins us from Hays Personnel; her background is in recruitment and sales where she has extensive experience; the department is already benefitting from her total commitment to satisfying the needs of clients and candidates alike.

1.CONTRACT AWARDED.

Following a successful campaign for Severn Trent Water Ltd, Charlesworth Group have been commissioned by both John Kennedy (Civil Engineering) Ltd and T.J. Brent Ltd to provide Risk Assessment Surveys for South West Water for the Counties of Devon and Cornwall. Our surveys are fast becoming the norm for both Utility providers and contracters alike wishing to demonstrate a high level of responsibility to their customers as well as minimising risk of damage to property, thus avoiding potentially costly claims.

3. NEW OFFICES & TRAINING CENTRE

We have purchased a prime 4.5 acre greenfield site at Battlefield Enterprise Park, just one mile North of Shrewsbury town centre having direct access to the M54 via the A5 dual carriageway link from Shrewsbury.

Our plans include the development of our own Headquarters office building (for which we now have detailed planning permission) incorporating a purpose - designed centre for our Health & Safety and Oil & Gas Training courses which we plan to occupy at the earliest opportunity.

4. "CHARLESWORTH COURT", BATTLEFIELD, SHREWSBURY

We anticipate being ablt to announce shortly two sales on Charlesworth Court which will take up a large part of available land. The end value of this development will be in the region of £4.0 million.

5. "MIDDLECROFT", STAPLETON, NR SHREWSBURY

Our development of luxury homes on large plots (up to ½ acre) was completed in January 2002, selling prices comfortably exceeded projections.



6. HIGHBRIDGE(MIDLANDS)LTD - our Joint Venture is now beginning to show results; we have secured a contract on a major industrial complex of 125,000 ft2 on 26 acres and are in negotiation to purchase a prime 30 acre greenfield site capable of accomodating 450,000 ft2 of offices - this could well have an end value in excess of £100million - other opportunities are being actively persued.
